Young Greenwich supports local young people in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, providing them with social & health and wellbeing opportunities.
Delivered by a partnership of organisations in south London, Young Greenwich run over 70+ social activities per week. They also offer health and wellbeing support across school nursing, sexual health, weight management, and mental health services.
SMG were brought in to create Young Greenwich's digital infrastructure. We developed an intuitive platform for accessing activities and support services, which acts as a gateway to support within Greenwich.
Young Greenwich’s digital infrastructure includes a user-friendly front-end, referral system (allowing parents, health professionals, and young people themselves to refer into services), an authenticated area, booking system, and service delivery CRM. Integration with third-party systems via API links ensures seamless coordination all of Young Greenwich’s delivery partners’ systems and the wider public health infrastructure in Greenwich.
Additionally, we developed a bespoke data warehouse to aggregate service engagement data across all Young Greenwich partners, combining and parsing divergent data sets into a full collection of programme insights. The data warehouse provides a streamlined means of reporting to the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Young Greenwich’s commissioners, and allows for granular data interrogation across demographics, services, and activities.
To date, Young Greenwich has engaged over 8,000 Young People in its activities and services across the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
